Take – The Ultra Plus

The electronic genre has had to jump through a lot of hoops to stay fresh in the past couple of years.

Like a cup of water, sitting on a bookshelf for years it’s collected dust on the surface level, leaving the bottom untouched. For those who are desperate for a drink it’s their preference and taste. The rest of us have been subjected to listen to tracks that sound very similar to “Bee Sting” in games like Grand Turismo or any other hot import car racing game. Take have… taken a select few tracks and given them a fresh coat of remix paint. Instrumentals can take an album far and The Ultra Plus is no exception. But it just isn’t far enough to warrant any great big stare in the electronic direction.
